Margo's privacy note

Margo is an AI character. This note explains what happens to your details when you ask Margo for a guide or join her list.

What we collect.

Comments on Margo's Instagram posts that include the word AI: your Instagram user ID and username, which post it was on, when you commented, and whether Margo replied. We don't keep the text of any comment. For other comments we keep only the comment's ID, which post it was on, its time, and why Margo didn't reply, with nothing that identifies you.
Messages to Margo: for each message, its ID, the conversation ID, your Instagram user ID and when we read it, and a note if you replied STOP. We don't keep the text of your messages, except an email address if you choose to send one.
Margo's list, only if you send us your email: your email address, your Instagram user ID and username, which comment and message it came from, a note of how and when you agreed to join, which character's list you joined, and whether and when you unsubscribed.

We delete comment and message records after 30 days. Your list details stay until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.

If you download a guide from Margo's Gumroad shop, Gumroad collects your email for the download under its own privacy policy. We collect nothing else.

What we use it for. To send the guide to people who ask for it, to make sure Margo replies to each person only once and stops when asked, and, if you joined her list, to send an occasional short note. That's all.

Who else sees it. We don't sell your details, and we don't share them with anyone for their marketing. They are held only by the services that store and send our messages for us: Instagram (Meta) for messages, and our secure database and email providers.

Stopping. Reply STOP to Margo on Instagram, or use the unsubscribe link in any email, and we stop writing to you. To see, correct or delete any of the details above, email dljcapital@yahoo.com. We'll act on it within 30 days.

Do Not Track. We don't track you across other websites, so our practice is the same whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track signal.

Children. Margo's guides are for adults. We don't knowingly collect details from anyone under 13 (under 16 for California residents).

Changes. If this note changes, we'll update the effective date above. If a change affects how we use details we already hold, we'll ask before applying it to you.
